Network Support Engineer Location: Boxmeer, Netherlands Sites Covered: Boxmeer, De Bilt, Stevensbeek, Gennep, Oss & Beugen Languages: Dutch & English Experience: Minimum 3-4 years Job Summary We are looking for a Network Support Engineer with EUC knowledge to support the enterprise and shop-floor network environment across multiple MSD-AH sites in the Netherlands. The engineer will work closely with global network teams, providing onsite network support, infrastructure preparation, equipment installation, cabling, documentation, and troubleshooting. The role will have read-only access to the network, while configuration changes will be handled by global teams. Key Responsibilities Manage and support Enterprise and Shop Floor Network environments across all assigned MSD-AH sites. Support the Cisco network environment, including: Wi-Fi Layer 2 Layer 3 SFPs and related network components Perform and support structured cabling, including UTP: Cat5 Cat6 Cat6a Cat7 Perform fiber cabling, including: Single Mode (SM) Multi Mode (MM) Patch and maintain UTP and fiber connections, including documentation and labelling. Perform rack & stack activities for server and network equipment in SER and LCR rooms. Replace and relocate server/network equipment when required. Reorganize SER racks. Support global network teams during IOS updates. Support global network teams during the rollout of new network equipment by preparing site information and providing console access. Work with read-only network access; network configuration changes will be performed by global teams. Required Skills & Experience Experience in networking and support roles. Good communication skills in English and Dutch. Basic understanding of network environments and components, including: Layer 2 Layer 3 SFP Other basic network components Practical experience with structured UTP cabling. Experience with fiber cabling (SM/MM). Nice to Have Cisco networking experience. Network device management experience. CCNA or CCNP certification preferred. Travel Required: Travel between the different assigned sites is required, including: Boxmeer | De Bilt | Stevensbeek | Gennep | Oss | Beugen A driving license and car are therefore mandatory.

Core Responsibilities

The Network Support Engineer will provide onsite support for enterprise and shop-floor network environments, including equipment installation, cabling, and troubleshooting. They will collaborate with global teams to prepare sites for network rollouts and perform physical rack and stack activities.

Requirements

Candidates must have 3-4 years of networking experience and proficiency in both Dutch and English. Practical experience with structured UTP and fiber cabling, along with a valid driving license and car, is required.
