The role also involves writing clean, testable code, troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with hardware and flight-control teams, and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement of ground-control tools. This is a contract, on-site role based in Aalsmeer, requiring regular interaction with engineering, test, and operations personnel. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture principles. Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including experience with modern languages commonly used for back-end and control systems. Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, data persistence, and integration with real-time systems. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP concepts to complex, modular systems. Experience with real-time or distributed systems, ideally in aerospace, robotics, automotive, or other safety-critical domains. Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. Ability to work on-site in Aalsmeer, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. NOTE: No sponsorship is provided or this position.
