Job Description

Are you a procurement professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, supplier management and project execution? At AME, we are looking for a Project Buyer who will play a key role in bringing innovative high-tech products to market. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain, you will ensure that the right suppliers, components and commercial agreements are in place to support successful New Product Introductions (NPI). As the link between Engineering and Procurement, you will translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies while ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery. What you'll do: Drive supplier and component selection for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Develop sourcing strategies that support quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance throughout the product development process. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting supplier development initiatives. Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs, inventory and supply chain performance. Mitigate procurement risks and contribute to robust and reliable supply chains. Support continuous improvement and help shape the future of procurement at AME. As you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, value engineering projects and early supplier involvement during product development. What you bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. Around 2–4 years of procurement experience within a technical manufacturing or high-tech environment. Experience with project procurement, strategic sourcing or New Product Introduction (NPI) is an advantage. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage). A proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English. Why join AME? Core Responsibilities

The Project Buyer will drive supplier and component selection for New Product Introduction projects while acting as the primary link between Engineering and Procurement. They are responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery throughout the product development process.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related technical field. The role requires 2–4 years of procurement experience in a technical manufacturing or high-tech environment, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
