Job Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines. In this role, you support our clients in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries mainly in the Randstad area with smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays a crucial role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life. What excites you as a Embedded Software Engineer? You will dive deep into real-time embedded software, ranging from bare-metal to embedded Linux, and contribute to secure and robust solutions that millions of people rely on every day. Developing embedded software in C++ for advanced high-tech systems Building and optimizing applications on Linux-based platforms Designing modular and maintainable software architecture Developing graphical interfaces using Qt for machine and system control Debugging and analyzing complex embedded systems Collaborating with electronics and mechatronics engineers in multidisciplinary teams Contributing to system architecture and technical roadmaps Sounds good so far? We'd love to tell you more… Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering or similar You have 2-3 years of experience in technical software development You have recent experience with C++, Qt, linux and embedded environments You understand software architecture and design patterns You are fluent in Dutch and English (written and verbal) Knowledge of mechatronics is a plus This is what you can expect in return from Sioux Flexible 32-40 hour working week, with room to work from home. Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field and possess 2-3 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in C++, Qt, and Linux within embedded environments is required, along with fluency in Dutch and English.
