Junior Depositary Service Officer Location: Amsterdam or Maarsbergen Contract Type: 12-month fixed-term contract with the prospect of a permanent contract Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office) Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) The salary range for this specific role will be € 45.000 – € 50.000 gross per year. Some of the things you’ll be doing Performing and reviewing core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions. Monitoring and reconciling fund cash accounts on a daily basis, identifying and escalating any unusual or inconsistent transactions. Conducting asset safekeeping controls by verifying, documenting, and maintaining records of assets held by the fund or by the fund manager on behalf of the fund. Carrying out oversight activities to ensure that fund operations and transactions comply with applicable regulations, fund documentation, and internal procedures. Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence. Collaborating closely with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain strong client relationships. Acting as a trusted partner to clients, providing high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters. Contributing as a key member of a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence. What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Fluency in English and Dutch is required. Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment. Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders. A team-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach. A commitment to fostering an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture where professionalism and mutual respect are at the core of everything you do. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the AIFMD, UCITS framework, and the Dutch regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential.

Requirements
Candidates need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and fluency in both English and Dutch. Initial professional experience in depositary services, banking, or a regulated financial environment is required.
