SUMMARY As part of a major industrial project, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Consignement Officer to manage electrical safety and temporary installations on a large-scale industrial construction project in the Netherlands. The role covers LOTO procedures, preliminary energization, work permits, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards while supervising subcontractors. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the designated Electrical Installation Responsible Person (IV) and the primary authority for electrical safety on site. Assume operational responsibility for the safe condition, operation, and maintenance of temporary electrical installations. Manage and oversee the temporary site power network, including maintenance planning, periodic inspections, and safe operation. Issue, manage, and approve work permits and electrical safety authorizations for subcontractors. Establish and supervise Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure compliance with electrical safety protocols. Oversee preliminary energization activities and ensure that all necessary safety measures are in place. Conduct initial inspections, pre-commissioning checks, and routine safety audits of distribution boards, transformers, generators, and temporary electrical cables. Ensure compliance with applicable Dutch and European electrical standards and site safety requirements. Provide electrical safety guidance to construction teams and subcontractors. YOUR PROFILE Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects. Proven experience in electrical installation supervision and electrical safety management on construction sites. Strong knowledge of electrical design, installations, and temporary site power systems. Certified Electrical Installation Responsible Person (Installatieverantwoordelijke – IV) or holder of an equivalent European electrical authorization. Knowledge of and relevant qualifications in: NEN 3140 - NEN 1010 - VCA-VOL Fluency in English. Requirements
