About the role We are seeking an HR Director to lead the people strategy for Van Hessen. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll partner closely with the COO and senior business leaders to shape a high-performing organisation. You will lead the development and execution of the global HR strategy, drive organisational effectiveness, foster employee engagement, and support transformational business initiatives across multiple regions and cultures. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the global HR strategy, aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans Act as a trusted business partner to the COO and senior leadership team, providing strategic people advice and guidance Lead organisational design, workforce planning, talent development and succession planning initiatives Build and develop a high-performing global HR function and leadership team Drive employee engagement, leadership capability and organisational culture across all regions Lead and support change management, transformation programmes and post-merger integration activities Champion data-driven decision-making through effective HR metrics, analytics and reporting Partner with the wider Saria Food & Pharma HR community to implement best practice and deliver strategic HR projects About you Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field Proven experience in an HR leadership role within a complex manufacturing, industrial and international business environment Fluent English is essential, additional languages would be advantageous i.e. Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese Experience with HR transformation and enterprise HR systems e.g. Workday is beneficial Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge at executive level Strong organisational design, change management and leadership development experience Demonstrated success developing and delivering global people strategies that support business growth and transformation Travel Requirements: You will have a willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis as required.
