We’re looking for a Resident Automation Technician to support the daily operations of an advanced production and logistics site operated by a leading company in the beverage industry, located in Rotterdam. The facility relies on state-of-the-art automation to sustain high production standards and ensure efficient distribution across the market. Responsibilities Perform electromechanical corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment. Carry out electromechanical preventive maintenance in accordance with maintenance plans. Report on system performance and performed activities (including anomalies and corrective actions) to the Customer and E80 Group. Build and maintain a strong relationship between the Customer and E80 Group based on trust, daily commitment, technical results and equipment’s reliability. Organize periodic meetings on E80 Group’s system performance with the Customer’s representatives. Conduct periodic on-the-job training for the Customer’s personnel. Promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by the Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager. Manage spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed. Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment provided by E80 Group and/or the Customer. Technical Requirements Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation. Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings. 3–5 years of experience as an electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician or automation technician, ideally within manufacturing environments or automated industrial plants. Ability to perform electromechanical work at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training). Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, or Rockwell is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus. Soft Skills Requirements Desire to make a difference and daily represent E80 Group in front of the Customer. English (advanced or native level) with excellent communication skills. Fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written, will be considered a plus. Strong autonomy and proactivity. Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Curiosity about learning new technologies. Other Requirements Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Valid driver’s license and car owner. Core Responsibilities
Perform electromechanical corrective and preventive maintenance on automated systems while ensuring high equipment reliability. Act as the primary technical liaison between the customer and E80 Group by managing on-site operations, spare parts, and training personnel.
Requirements
Requires a technical qualification in electromechanical or industrial automation fields with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical documentation.
