Role Overview We are seeking User Experience Study Testers to participate in a structured research project evaluating the onboarding and payment journey within the OKX cryptocurrency exchange app. You'll complete a guided first-time user journey, narrate your experience, and provide detailed feedback on usability, clarity, and overall user experience. This is a freelance, task-based opportunity aligned with the IST time zone. What You'll Do Register a new account on OKX and competitor apps Complete identity verification (ID scan & selfie) Deposit funds (fully reimbursed) Make an initial crypto purchase Narrate your thoughts aloud while recording your screen and audio Submit recordings and written feedback questionnaires Attend a weekly 1-hour debrief call (Fridays) Who We're Looking For New users (must NOT have used OKX or competitor apps before) Valid government ID (passport, driver's license, residence permit, or eID) Working payment method (bank transfer, card, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay, or local option) Fluent in local language + able to narrate in English Access to both Android and iOS devices Ability to record screen with clear audio in a quiet, private space Quality Expectations Thoughtful, natural-paced participation (no rushing) Clear, specific narration and written feedback Ratings consistent with explanations provided Strict adherence to task sequence (Sign Up → Verify → Deposit → Purchase) Compensation Netherlands, France, Germany: $20-$25 PER 1-HOUR SESSION Poland: $18-$20 PER 1-HOUR SESSION Full payment for work meeting project standards Higher tier rates available for consistently strong quality Schedule Weekly debrief call: Fridays, 4:00 PM SGT / 1:30 PM IST / 1:00 PM PKT Duration: 1 hour Testers notified one week in advance This is a great opportunity to contribute to a global research project, sharpen your testing skills, and earn competitive pay while working remotely.

Core Responsibilities

Testers will perform a guided first-time user journey on the OKX cryptocurrency app, narrating their experience and providing detailed usability feedback. Participants are also required to submit recordings, written questionnaires, and attend a weekly debrief call.

Requirements

Candidates must be new users who have not previously used OKX or competitor apps and possess a valid government ID and a working payment method. Applicants must be fluent in their local language, capable of narrating in English, and have access to both Android and iOS devices.
