Job Description

YOUR ROLE  
 
The focus of the Operational Control Room Specialist is to ensure operational availability and delivery reliability for our customers. 
 
In this role, you hold a key position within the logistics operation. Together with the control room team, you monitor system performance, optimize processes, and provide support through daily reporting, analyses, and recommendations to assess and improve KPI performance. 
 
You will work closely with colleagues in the control room (a team of 28 specialists in process, operations, equipment, and data), as well as warehouse operations and logistics partners. You will work in two shifts: a day shift and an evening shift. You report to the Team Lead Control Room. 
 
WHAT WILL YOU DO?  
 
• You are responsible for batching workload to create sufficient workload for operations; 
• You are allocating resources, machines and workstations based on the production plans; 
• You monitor performance across various KPIs and make adjustments where necessary; 
• You are serving as daily support for operation, monitoring the happy flow and being able to identify the bottlenecks during the unhappy flow with tools such as Reflex, WAMAS, reporting and dashboarding. 
• You are in close contact with operations and ensure first line support; 
• You monitor the flow on the system and respond actively by adjusting the various flows andstations; 
• You are responsible sending out hourly and daily performance updates to various internal stakeholders and the customer Bol; 
• You work on process improvements according to Lean principles. 

 
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 
• A completed MBO level 4 degree, preferably in engineering, IT, or logistics; 
• Relevant work experience in a logistics or production environment; 
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working; 
• Resilience under pressure, a strong sense of responsibility, and organizational skills; 
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; 
• Experience with WMS systems is a plus; 
• Full-time availability.

• You will receive a base monthly salary between €2.754 and €3.793, shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance and shift allowance (grading depending on your work experience and education level);
