Role
As an Oracle EPM Lead Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Oracle EPM Cloud Planning solutions. You will combine strong hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
You will act as a key bridge between architecture, engineering, and business teams, setting technical direction, guiding engineers, and driving engineering excellence, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across the EPM platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud Planning solutions.
Develop and maintain Groovy scripts, Business Rules, Calculation Manager artifacts, forms, dashboards, and automation frameworks.
Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and solutions.
Design and support integrations using REST APIs, Data Exchange, Data Management, and EPM Automate.
Drive platform stability, performance optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
Explore and implement AI-enabled capabilities to improve planning, forecasting, user experience, and decision-making.
Provide technical leadership within the squad, guiding engineers and driving technical decisions and solutions.
Lead technical discussions and design reviews, creating alignment across engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and promote strong engineering practices.
Take ownership of complex technical initiatives and drive them from design through successful implementation.
Ensure solutions comply with relevant engineering, security, and risk standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Planning.
Groovy scripting, Business Rules, and Calculation Manager.
Data Management, Data Exchange, REST APIs, and EPM Automate.
Smart View, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Strong solution design and engineering capabilities.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively and create alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive complex technical initiatives.
Exposure to AI/ML-enabled planning, predictive forecasting, or GenAI-assisted business processes is an advantage.
