Luxeed Breadcrumb Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo MLOps & Data Infrastructure Engineer LUXEED Robotics B.V. (link is external) is a Dutch early-stage AgTech startup that uses lasers and AI to burn weeds with high precision, ZERO herbicides needed. We’re making lasers more affordable and accessible to farmers to help them transition to organic and regenerative weeding. Do you want to be part of a cutting-edge technology that will eliminate the use of herbicides by zapping weeds with lasers? This is a remote and task-based opportunity where your problem-solving and critical skills, communication, and ability to adapt will be highly challenged. We expect around 40 hours a week. Compensation starting at €1,500/month. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain a scalable AWS-based pipeline for data ingestion, management, and processing. Oversee the flow of data from collection devices → labeling vendors → AWS storage/database → training pipeline. Implement data preprocessing, cleaning, validation, and quality control for large-scale image datasets. Set up and maintain a model registry, version control for models, and automated deployment pipelines. Develop and manage continuous training, testing, and deployment workflows without human intervention. Manage server-side infrastructure for running neural networks, tracking metrics, and monitoring model performance. Collaborate on the data labeling process to ensure data formatting, standards, and quality are maintained. Work closely with AI researchers and engineers to integrate models into production devices and push software updates. Ensure infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. Proven experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch). Strong background in MLOps, data pipelines, and automated ML workflows. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools. Proficiency in Python for building data processing and automation scripts. Familiarity with model registry tools (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker Model Registry, or similar). Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and quality assurance for ML datasets. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment Why join LUXEED?
