Job Description

Responsible for independently carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance (both mechanical and electrical) for the entire machinery of the site. Quickly and efficiently detecting and resolving technical faults. Ensuring that all activities comply with current safety and quality regulations. Preventing machine downtimes and quickly and efficiently resolving faults in case of potential stoppages. Keeping maintenance and malfunction reports to gain insight into machine usage and identify possible areas for improvement. Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment, including adjusting and testing their operation. Monitoring the stock of parts, materials and placing timely orders if needed. Being alert to critical parts. Providing technical support and collaborating with operators to ensure correct use and basic maintenance of machines. Keeping abreast of technical innovations and implementing improvements in maintenance processes when necessary. Responsible for supporting the organization in achieving the agreed operational KPIs, including contributing to reducing changeover times, increasing the line's production speed, and monitoring and improving quality, in close cooperation with the responsible departments. Ensuring a safe working environment. Who are we looking for? At least a completed MBO education in a technical field, e.g., Mechatronics. Experience in the manufacturing/process industry. In possession of a forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one during employment. Proficient in Dutch and English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage. Works smoothly with colleagues, shares knowledge and experience and is communicative. Has a broad technical knowledge and is willing to keep learning. Has a strong understanding of technical principles in mechanics and automation in order to carry out maintenance work. Can quickly and accurately analyze and troubleshoot malfunctions/implement solutions, so machines and installations are quickly back to optimal operation. Preferably takes initiative and is proactive, able to work independently and requires little supervision to perform maintenance tasks. Has a flexible attitude and is decisive, able to respond quickly and effectively to unexpected circumstances or setbacks. You are hands-on and ensure optimal use of time. Requirements

Candidates must have a completed MBO education in a technical field like Mechatronics and experience in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Dutch and English is required, along with a proactive, hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting.
