Job Description

In this internship, you will contribute to communication campaigns, content development, and audience engagement activities that support a strong security culture. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal communication within a large international technology company while helping create measurable business impact. Your assignment As an intern, you will support the development and delivery of communication initiatives that encourage secure behaviors and strengthen employee engagement. You will work closely with communication professionals and stakeholders while gaining experience in content creation, audience interaction, and communication effectiveness. Through this internship, you will help transform communication strategies into practical actions that reach employees across the organization. Your main responsibilities will be: Create and update communication materials that support security awareness initiatives Develop articles, presentations, visual content, and other communication assets Coordinate communication requests and track deliverables to ensure consistency Monitor employee feedback and identify recurring themes and improvement opportunities Support audience engagement activities and follow-up communication Analyze communication effectiveness and provide recommendations for optimization Help maintain organized communication processes and up-to-date content resources This is a bachelor/master internship (non-thesis) for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of end of November. Your profile To be suitable for the internship, you: Are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Communication, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field Have strong written communication skills in English Are analytical and able to translate information into engaging communication materials Demonstrate a proactive and structured approach to organizing and delivering work Collaborate effectively with different stakeholders and communicate professionally Show curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment This internship is ideal if you want to combine creativity with practical execution and gain experience in communication that drives real behavioral change. During this internship, you will contribute to meaningful awareness initiatives while developing valuable professional skills in communication, stakeholder engagement, and content creation. Other requirements you need to meet: You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship; If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement); You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular; You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Requirements
