Role Review: Seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong GCP, Kafka, Bigtable, Scala/Java, and Terraform experience to build scalable data platforms and production-grade pipelines. Required Skills: Strong hands-on GCP & cloud architecture Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions) Data engineering: ingestion, transformation & orchestration Apache Kafka: platform setup & administration Google Bigtable: design, tuning & operations Strong Scala / Java development GTM experience (to be confirmed) Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable GCP data platforms and pipelines Build and manage Kafka streaming and event-driven architectures Develop and optimize Bigtable solutions Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform & CI/CD Conduct technical design reviews and collaborate with Data & Product Teams
