Job Description
The program director is a senior driver of success at TBWA. You own the delivery and profitability of all projects within your co-lab. Your focus is flawless execution and commercial performance. As a program director, you partner with the co-labs steering team (account-, strategy-, and creative lead) not only to support but to lead the charge on clarity, accountability, and efficiency. You are the one ensuring teams deliver on time, on budget, and above expectations. Core competencies • Accountability for end-to-end project delivery and profitability across projects in your Co-Lab • Oversee the Account teams’ translation from client needs into clear project scopes, budgets, and timelines • Anticipate risks and solve problems before they impact delivery • Drive cross-functional alignment with steering Team • Track commercial performance and flag them to the Steering Team • Provide structure and guidance to project teams to enable their best work • Partner with the other Program Directors and Resource Manager to identify potential challenges across accounts and solve them together Required experience • At least 8+ years of experience • Solid understanding of the Creative industry • Deep experience with managing budgets, scopes, and resourcing • Preferably proven track record in delivering complex, multi-channel campaigns and large-scale projects Core competencies • Commercial acumen and financial accountability • Strong project governance and risk management • Proven ability to drive change /different way of working across multiple departments or teams • Structured problem-solving and decision-making • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management • System thinking Personality • Hands-on leader with a strong sense of ownership • Collaborative yet decisive • Driven and energizing to others • Calm under pressure
Core Responsibilities
The Program Director is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and commercial profitability of projects within their co-lab. They lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience with a deep understanding of the creative industry and complex campaign management. Strong financial acumen, project governance, and the ability to drive change across departments are essential.
