Job description CSMART is looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Maritime Simulation Studies Team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or junior professional with a background in coastal, ocean or civil engineering, hydrodynamics, or a related technical discipline. You will support cruise ship manoeuvring simulations, mooring analyses and hydrodynamic studies for the Carnival Corporation fleet. Working alongside experienced engineers and specialists, you will develop expertise in Maritime Simulator Operations, Static and Dynamic Mooring Analysis and Hydrodynamic Flow Modelling. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, sound engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. What you will do Support the preparation and delivery of simulation studies. Conduct static and dynamic mooring analyses and prepare technical reports. Develop hydrodynamic flow models using industry-leading software. Analyse and interpret metocean data, including tides, currents and waves. Work closely with engineers, Captains and Marine Pilots on operational studies. About you MSc graduate or junior professional with up to two years of relevant experience. Background in coastal, ocean or civil engineering, hydrodynamics, or a related discipline. Experience with numerical modelling, mooring analysis or hydrodynamic studies is an advantage. Strong IT skills, including Python and advanced Excel. Fluent in English. Why Join CSMART?
