Conscious Aerospace is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Process & Quality Engineer in our Engineering department supporting the design, validation, verification and certification of HAPSS through robust process control and quality assurance practices. About this role Your mission You will play a key role in the development & integration of Hydrogen Powertrain technologies in a variety of aerospace applications. You will be part of a highly motivated team working in a fast-paced environment delivering pioneering engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Serve as technical authority for process and quality management systems, while fostering innovative and creative solutions that meet aviation certification and quality standards. Strong working knowledge of aviation quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9145/APQP). Support the ongoing efforts towards obtaining Design Organisation Approval (DOA) under EASA. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management processes and procedures aligned with HAPSS program requirements. Establish and document manufacturing and assembly process controls, including inspection plans, work instructions, and process validation protocols. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for non-conformances, deviations, and field issues. Support supplier quality management, including audits, incoming inspection criteria, and supplier corrective action requests. Develop and maintain First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and process capability (Cpk) documentation. Prepare documentation for validation and verification in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations and contribute to technical review gates. Support configuration management and traceability of parts, materials, and processes throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinate with system suppliers to ensure process and quality compliance across the supply chain. Job requirements Your luggage Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related field is required. Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage. 5+ years of relevant engineering experience. Knowledge of quality management systems and aerospace process standards. Knowledge of safety standards for software and complex electronic hardware is an advantage. Demonstrated experience in hydrogen system development engineering surroundings. Demonstrated ability to understand complex engineering challenges and deliver timely solutions. System specs, traceability, and verification infrastructure knowledge. System functional test plans, including software testing and verification. System safety assessments, failure hazard analysis, and certification test plans. Strong communication skills and experience working under pressure in a small high performing team. Occasional travel to suppliers and industry events. Requirements
