About Convect Convect builds software that makes professional VvE management simpler, smarter and more efficient. Our platform supports VvE management companies across financial administration, maintenance, meetings, communication and other daily operations. With more than Five million requests processed every month, we combine deep VvE domain knowledge with modern cloud, data and AI technologies. We are an international, product-driven team where autonomy, ownership and collaboration are central to how we work. Your Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build and modernise the Convect platform. You’ll work closely with engineering, product and business colleagues and take end-to-end responsibility for the solutions you initiate. You build it. You run it. You improve it. You will: Build clean, scalable and maintainable software, primarily in Kotlin, Python, Typescript Design reliable and future-proof solutions Take ownership from architecture to production Work with product and business to solve real customer problems Improve our architecture, integrations and engineering practices Explore AI, automation and new technologies where they drive real value Share knowledge and help the engineering team grow Tech Stack • Kotlin - Python • Spring Boot • Angular - TypeScript • AWS (SQS/SNS, S3, EventBridge etc.) • Docker • Kubernetes • RDS (MySQL etc) • GraphDB • Redis You don’t need to know everything in our stack. Strong engineering fundamentals, ownership and the ability to learn matter more. What We're Looking For You have solid backend engineering experience with (preferable) Kotlin/Java or Python or Typescript, understand production systems and think beyond individual features. You enjoy making technical decisions, solving complex business problems and taking responsibility for the outcome — not just writing code. Core Responsibilities

You will build, modernize, and maintain the Convect platform while taking end-to-end ownership of solutions from architecture to production. You will collaborate with product and business teams to solve customer problems and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

You should have solid backend engineering experience with Kotlin, Java, Python, or TypeScript and a strong understanding of production systems. The role requires the ability to make technical decisions, solve complex business problems, and take ownership of outcomes.
