About The Job Hoofddorp, Hybrid Your mission The Supply Risk Manager is a strategic role within the C&P team, responsible for safeguarding supply continuity across all direct categories and regions. Working at the intersection of risk intelligence, category strategy, and supplier relationships, this position ensures the organization is prepared for — and resilient against — supply disruptions across the entire direct materials portfolio. This role draws on best practices seen at leading FMCG companies, where security supply, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and cross-regional collaboration are central to procurement excellence. The Supply Risk Manager acts as the central hub connecting global category teams, regional procurement functions, and key suppliers to build a robust, proactive supply security framework. Main Responsibilities Category Supply Security Own and drive the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework across all direct materials categories, ensuring strategic supply security is embedded at the category level Develop and maintain category-level BCP guidelines, defining risk thresholds, mitigation strategies, and recovery plans Develop tools BCP Tool, Everstreem Lead the internal (BCP) and external tools to help guide the company for critical materials, Suppliers and risks Conduct regular BCP Audits of Suppliers and follow up BCP implementation including stock monitoring by the C&P Buyers Lead periodic BCP scenario exercises (tabletop and live drills) with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain Planning Animate Supplier BCP Monitor macro-level risk signals — geopolitical developments, commodity market volatility, climate events, logistics disruptions — and translate them into actionable category guidance Supply Risk Reporting & Regional Collaboration Design and manage a best-in-class supply risk reporting infrastructure, ensuring full visibility across the organization and all regions Develop and maintain a global supply risk dashboard, providing real-time visibility on risk exposure by category, supplier, and region Produce regular (weekly / monthly / quarterly) supply risk reports for Senior Leadership and the C&P Leadership Team Collaborate closely with all regional procurement and supply chain teams — including EMEA, Americas, and APAC collecting security data, align on risk priorities, and consolidate a global risk picture Lead Supply Security Global governance forums with regional stakeholders to review emerging risks, share best practices, and coordinate regional BCP activations Supplier Collaboration Strategy Lead the development and execution of a supplier collaboration strategy focused on strengthening supply resilience at the source Define and implement a Supplier Collaboration Framework for supply security, including joint BCP development with strategic suppliers, shared risk visibility tools, and mutual contingency planning Develop supplier segmentation models to prioritize collaboration efforts based on supply criticality, spend, and risk profile with implementation of Supply Chain models like VMI, ASN, API Design global Contractual recommendation for Supplier Collaborations and SRM Define tools and monitor OTIF Represent the organization in supplier forums and industry working groups focused on supply chain resilience and risk management. About You Experience & Technical knowledge Master’s Degree in relevant direction 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Risk Management Highly skilled in Excel, PPT, Power BI Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills and able to connect with diversity group of stakeholders at all levels (up to VP level) Strong analytical mindset able to synthesise complex risk data into clear, actionable insights and reports for senior stakeholders Excellent communication and influencing skills — capable of engaging regional teams, suppliers, and executive leadership with equal impact Strategic thinking able to translate category risk assessments into long-term supply security strategies Structured project management able to lead cross-functional initiatives simultaneously across multiple regions Proficiency with risk management tools, procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, or similar), and data visualisation platforms Fluent in English. The salary range for this role is between €85,000 – €105,000 gross annually (including 8% holiday allowance).
