Job Description
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role within the Finance team, supporting the financial performance and transformation agenda of the Zoetermeer manufacturing site. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and controlling activities related to free cash flow, balance sheet management, material cost variances, and corporate costs. Acting as a trusted business partner to senior operational leaders and department managers, you will provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency. This position offers significant exposure to manufacturing operations within one of the organization's largest and most strategic production facilities, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to expand their operational controlling expertise and accelerate their career development. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, strengthen governance and controls, and support the delivery of the company's finance excellence objectives. Responsibilities Own the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of balance sheet and free cash flow forecasts, actual results, and variance reporting. Ensure the accuracy and credibility of financial assumptions while driving process efficiency improvements. Lead cash and credit governance forums, enhancing reporting quality, compliance, and decision-making processes. Take full ownership of material cost variance analysis and related financial reporting. Manage period-end and year-end financial landing processes, ensuring robust governance and alignment across stakeholders. Partner with Plant Leadership Team (PLT) members and departmental managers to provide financial guidance and support business performance. Collaborate closely with central Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and shared service teams on financial initiatives and reporting requirements. Identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively recommending and driving corrective actions. Continuously improve financial controls, reporting processes, systems, and analytical tools. Build strong relationships with local, regional, and cross-functional stakeholders to support effective decision-making. Act as Business Process Owner (BPO) for designated internal controls and compliance activities. Oversee controlling activities related to corporate costs, including shared service center expenses. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant finance experience within a complex multinational organization. Experience in manufacturing, operations controlling, or supply chain finance is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes. Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into business recommendations. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences. Proactive, reliable, and results-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels. Strong technical and systems skills, with experience working with financial reporting and planning tools. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a complex multinational organization. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial reporting tools, and experience in manufacturing or operations controlling are highly desirable.
