Job Description

Bnberry is transforming the $87 billion travel tech industry by changing how hotels and resorts connect with guests worldwide. We're building DBS — a new kind of product that hotels adopt as a B2B SaaS business tool, and that travelers experience directly as a consumer-facing hotel booking journey. This is not a Product Owner or delivery-management role focused on writing tickets and managing developers. Your mandate is to own DBS end-to-end, connecting three product areas that most companies keep separate: the guest-facing booking experience, the hotel-facing workflows and business value, and how travelers discover hotels through search and AI tools. What You'll Own The consumer-facing booking journey — including the logic behind it: availability, rates, cancellation policies, and how PMS/CRS or booking-engine integrations shape what the guest sees Hotel-facing workflows tied to DBS: onboarding, reporting, and adoption The product capabilities that help hotels improve and measure visibility across search engines and AI discovery tools, in partnership with Marketing and relevant specialists Booking-funnel performance and conversion The link between guest experience and measurable hotel business value What You'll Do Define product vision and roadmap for DBS, connecting guest booking UX, hotel workflows, and AI discovery into one coherent product Own the booking journey end-to-end — identify friction in calendars, date selection, room/rate selection, checkout, and confirmation, and understand how availability, rates, cancellation policies, and PMS/CRS or booking-engine integrations affect what the guest experiences; work with Engineering on dependencies and failure cases Translate hotel onboarding, reporting, and adoption needs into product decisions that show measurable business value to hotel customers Own the product capabilities behind search and AI/GEO visibility — partner with Marketing and relevant specialists on execution, while building enough SEO/GEO literacy to identify and prioritize the right product bets Interview hoteliers and travelers and run usability tests; translate qualitative and quantitative findings into clear priorities Define success metrics before building, and use experiment results to guide iteration Work closely with Design and Engineering through detailed user journeys, making trade-offs and shipping in small, practical iterations Align Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success around DBS priorities, and take responsibility for product outcomes Requirements 3+ years of product management experience owning customer-facing products, including relevant experience in hospitality technology or travel booking Relevant, demonstrable connection to the US market Hands-on customer research skills — hotelier and traveler interviews, usability testing, and translating findings into clear priorities Strong analytical and experimentation skills — diagnosing booking-funnel friction, testing improvements, and measuring booking conversion, hotel adoption, and retention Comfortable working through detailed user journeys with Design and Engineering, making trade-offs, and shipping in small iterations Able to operate independently with ambiguity, prioritize by customer and business value, and align Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success What We're Looking For: Industry-Grounded — You've worked in hotel technology, B2B hospitality platforms, or a B2C travel product with an actual booking journey. Deep exposure to hotel distribution systems is a plus, not a prerequisite — strong B2C travel/booking experience counts too. US Market Fluent — You have demonstrable familiarity with US hotels or travel customers, whether through working with them directly or through living and studying in the US combined with hospitality experience. Booking UX Owner — You understand the details of a booking flow — calendars, date selection, room and rate choice, checkout, confirmation — and the logic behind it: availability, rates, cancellation policies, and PMS/CRS or booking-engine integrations. You can spot friction before a customer complains about it. Fluent in Both Guest and Hotel — You're as comfortable reasoning about a traveler's booking journey as you are about a hotelier's onboarding, adoption, and ROI. Fast Learner on AI/SEO — You understand how travelers discover hotels through search and AI tools, and can pick up emerging SEO/GEO capabilities quickly enough to know which product bets are worth making — without needing to personally execute SEO. Success Metrics Examples include: booking conversion rate, hotel adoption of DBS, feature adoption, booking-funnel completion, search and AI/GEO visibility for hotels on DBS, customer and hotelier satisfaction, and retention. Important Clarification This role is not a traditional Product Owner responsible primarily for backlog management and task assignment. The focus is on owning DBS as a genuinely new product category — one that has to work as a business tool for hotels and as a booking experience travelers actually use. Benefits Competitive salary plus equity package Define a new product category — DBS sits at the intersection of B2B SaaS, consumer booking, and AI discovery, largely undefined by competitors today Autonomy to experiment, take risks, and drive discovery Work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and a massive traditional industry

Core Responsibilities

Define the product vision and roadmap for DBS by integrating guest booking experiences, hotel workflows, and AI discovery tools. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including user research, funnel optimization, and cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, and sales teams.

Requirements

Requires 3+ years of product management experience in hospitality technology or travel booking with a strong focus on customer-facing products. Candidates must possess hands-on research skills, analytical capabilities for funnel optimization, and familiarity with the US market.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Equity package
