We’re looking for a Team Lead – Flex Foundry! Apply via our website or email [email protected]. As Team Lead – Flex Foundry at Delft Circuits, you will help build and lead our growing Foundry Product Line. You own the chain end-to-end: from customer needs and product roadmap, through design rules, sourcing and development, to manufacturing, testing and delivery. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining product, technology, customers, people and operations. You will report to our CPO and Co-Founder. What will you do? • Own and drive the Foundry product roadmap • Further develop our PDK, design rules, manufacturing capabilities and testing • Work directly with customers to translate their needs into technical solutions and projects • Coordinate product and process development with Research and Process Development • Lead the day-to-day Foundry operation and drive quality, repeatability, yield and continuous improvement • Manage technical relationships with suppliers and project partners • Lead, coach and grow the Foundry team while staying closely involved in technical and product challenges What do you bring? • A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Microelectronics or a related field, or equivalent industrial experience • At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab, flex/PCB manufacturing, microfabrication or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment • Strong technical understanding of materials, fabrication processes and manufacturability • Experience translating customer and market needs into product requirements and a technical roadmap • Experience leading people or technical teams • An entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication and organizational skills 📍 Delft | 36 hours per week 💰 €77,760 – €94,608 per year, including 8% holiday allowance 📄 1-year contract with intention to extend 🏖️ 30 vacation days | CAO Metalektro | PME pension scheme | Travel reimbursement | Training opportunities Interested in building a Foundry offering where advanced technology meets real customer applications? Core Responsibilities

You will own the end-to-end Foundry product lifecycle, from roadmap development and design rules to manufacturing, testing, and delivery. Additionally, you will lead and coach the Foundry team while managing technical relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant technical field or equivalent industrial experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in high-tech manufacturing environments. Strong technical expertise in fabrication processes and proven leadership skills are essential for this role.
