Job Description

Company Description IntES International Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary international engineering consultancy delivering solutions across China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. The company works with licensed professionals and experienced engineers to serve client sectors including Food & Beverage, Chemical and Fine Chemicals, Industrial, and Agricultural. IntES is recognized for its professionalism and effectiveness in Engineering, Procurement, and Project & Construction Management (EPCm) services. By combining strong design capabilities with hands-on engineering experience, IntES provides concrete EPCm solutions that address complex engineering challenges and support long-term client success. Role Description The Senior Project Manager will lead complex engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. In this full-time hybrid role based in North Brabant, Netherlands, with some work from home flexibility, the Senior Project Manager will coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage stakeholders, and oversee EPCm activities. Daily responsibilities include planning project phases, monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves supervising procurement and expediting activities, collaborating with logistics and inspection teams, reporting on project performance, and driving continuous improvement in project execution. The Senior Project Manager will act as a key contact for clients, facilitating clear communication and maintaining strong, professional relationships. Qualifications Strong project leadership skills, including Project Management experience with multi-disciplinary engineering or EPCm projects. Experience in Expediting activities, acting as an Expeditor to track vendor deliverables and ensure timely supply of materials and equipment. Knowledge of Inspection processes, with the ability to coordinate quality checks and technical compliance for engineered systems and components. Logistics Management skills to oversee transport, scheduling, and material flows supporting project execution. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage. Proven experience in industrial sectors such as Food & Beverage, Chemical, Fine Chemicals, or related process industries. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, collaborate with international teams, and communicate clearly in English; Dutch and other languages are a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who wants to grow as an engineering consultant. That could be a medior engineer ready to step up to a senior role, with more ownership of clients, budgets and project outcomes. It could also be someone from operations, maintenance or production who wants to move into engineering. You already know how plants really run and what matters to operators, and that is exactly what makes a strong owner's engineer. Whichever route you come from, the core of this job is working for clients. That means advising rather than only executing, earning trust quickly at a new site, being clear about scope and budget, and spotting where a client could use more of our help. You will need to learn the engineering, project and consultancy side properly, and our experienced engineers will support you along the way. What you bring Several years of experience in Dutch industry, either in engineering and CAPEX projects, or in operations, maintenance or production at an industrial site. Hands-on experience with running plants, such as tie-ins, shutdowns or day-to-day operations. A good grasp of project management ‘advanced basics’ (scope, planning, cost control, risk), or the drive to master them quickly.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards. They will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee procurement and logistics activities.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field and proven experience in industrial sectors like Food & Beverage or Chemicals. Strong project leadership skills, including experience with EPCm projects and expediting, are essential for this role.
