Job Description
We build high-performance, eco-friendly orbital propulsion platforms designed to power the future of sustainable space logistics. Based in Delft, our team is seeking an adaptable, hands-on hardware specialist to lead the build, assembly, and testing of space transportation systems ranging from CubeSat modules up to 1-tonne satellite platforms. You will manage end-to-end integration within our in-house facility and provide expert technical support during client integration campaigns. Your role Execute precision build, integration, and verification protocols for advanced spacecraft propulsion units. Draft comprehensive manufacturing instructions, validation procedures, and post-test assessment reports. Manage component procurement, incoming quality assurance, and supplier verification workflows. Coordinate internal fabrication schedules and oversee external contract manufacturing partners. Collaborate with systems engineering teams to ensure design files, BOMs, and assembly documentation are build-ready. Direct system delivery and provide hands-on integration support at customer facilities. Core Qualifications & Background 2+ years executing hardware assembly, integration, and testing on ultra-precise or mission-critical systems (e.g., aerospace, semiconductor capital equipment, flight simulators, or advanced optics). Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments and exposure to continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar). Highly organized, comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional team environments, with a track record of adapting quickly to evolving project needs. Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills for client-facing and inter-departmental collaboration.
