You are the logistics expert that customers and project workstreams rely on for best practices, analysis, solution design and decision-making. You stay ahead of the latest developments and trends in logistics, warehousing and automation. Tight project schedules don’t faze you. You plan, align and oversee engineering deliverables in close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. You are proactive, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You know WMS, WCS and automation. Your experience with warehouse management systems, warehouse control systems and automation projects enables you to guide project teams and partners through the full project lifecycle — from concept and detailed design through build, testing and deployment. You make complex solutions easy to understand. Communication and solution presentation are key strengths. You adapt your communication style to your audience, from C-level executives to the shop floor. Whether you are providing crisp management updates, explaining complex logic in simple terms or convincing a customer of your proposed solution, you communicate with clarity and impact. What you'll bring to GXO A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical, logistics or supply chain discipline, combined with 5+ years of experience in a logistics environment. Proven experience in engineering or project management within warehousing, transport or supply chain. Experience with large-scale projects is a strong advantage. Experience with warehouse automation, logistics engineering and/or complex technical solutions is highly valued. A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge, influence and make decisions. Fluent English language skills. Dutch and/or other European languages are a nice to have but no hard requirement. A results-oriented, collaborative mindset, combined with a high degree of ownership and initiative. The ability to prioritise effectively, work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines. Requirements
