Your job As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of an Agile DevOps team responsible for building and maintaining data solutions that support business processes and decision-making across the bank. Together with experienced colleagues, you will: Help develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes. Work with cloud-based technologies and data platforms in Azure. Support the development of reliable and scalable data solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Monitor and troubleshoot data processing jobs. Learn and apply engineering best practices, including testing, automation, and documentation. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver valuable solutions. This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure, Python, Databricks, Kafka, and Airflow while working on meaningful projects. We are looking for someone who has: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Basic knowledge of programming, preferably Python. Basic understanding of databases and data processing concepts. Interest in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in English. An eagerness to learn and grow within a Data Engineering role. It is a plus if you have experience through internships, university projects, personal projects, or certifications in technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Kafka, or Airflow.
