This is how you make impact The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist takes a leading role in the improvement team and supports the Operations Manager and the production organization with the challenges of managing a large production operation. The focus will primarily be on production, but with strong cross-functional elements, particularly in Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You are expected to initiate and facilitate changes, working closely with the organization to implement strategic plans and initiatives. In addition, we ask for: A completed technical or business management bachelor’s or master’s degree Relevant work experience in a production environment and a completed Black Belt Certification is a plus Strong command of English required, preferably Dutch Your daily responsibilities include The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist uses Lean and Six Sigma methods to solve problems that do not have clear-cut solutions. Neways NAA focuses on high-mix, low-volume production, which brings a unique dynamic and complexity. You translate data into valuable information and realize improvements. You work with several Continuous Improvement colleagues and the broader organization to implement and sustain improvements. Initiating, guiding, and implementing improvement projects that drive Neways NAA’s growth and control Supporting the development of NAA’s “strategic/operational” goals Guiding and supporting large improvement programs Optimizing the current improvement structure within NAA Implementing lean management methods (e.g., standard work for leaders, 6S, Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping, SMED) Training and coaching colleagues with Lean Production methods to support goal achievement
Core Responsibilities
The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist leads improvement projects and supports the production organization using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. They are responsible for optimizing improvement structures, training staff, and driving strategic operational goals.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a technical or business management bachelor’s or master’s degree and possess relevant experience in a production environment. A strong command of English is required, and a Black Belt Certification is considered a plus.
