You’ll join a global, privately owned company with more than 75 years of experience in sustainable packaging solutions and logistics optimization. Based in Nijkerk, you’ll help keep things moving for our customers while we work together to reduce environmental impact and drive smarter, greener operations. What You Will Do In this role, you’ll be the key link between our suppliers, internal stakeholders, and operations teams, making sure materials and services are available on time and at the right cost. You’ll work in a dynamic, international environment where innovation, sustainability, and high ethical standards are part of everyday decision-making. Expect a mix of hands-on purchasing, supplier communication, and continuous improvement. Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for assigned materials and services Place and follow up purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and availability Monitor stock levels and support inventory optimization together with planning and logistics Handle supplier confirmations, delivery issues, and deviations in a proactive way Collaborate with internal teams on demand forecasts, priorities, and process improvements Support cost-saving and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain What you bring You’re curious, solution-focused, and not afraid to ask questions to keep things running smoothly. You like structure, but you can also handle the occasional surprise that comes with operational purchasing. Most importantly, you’re a team player who values respectful collaboration and clear communication.
