The rig is currently operating on UK sector. Crew rotation is on a 3-6 schedule
Approx duration of the UK project is 1 year – before returning to Norwegian sector (TBA)
Start date of employment: February 2027
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We seek highly motivated and enthusiastic offshore Safety Officer who:
- Proactively ensure safe operations
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Possess excellent communication and cooperation skills
- Have the ability to teach and motivate others
KEY DUTIES
- Assist in the daily QHSE activities
- Support in the preparation and revisions of procedures, documents, and instructions
- Lead local incident investigations
- Verify compliance with safety rules, procedures, instructions, and safety tools
- Systematically follow up non-conformances, incident reports and deficiencies related to QHSE
- Maintain the offshore Competence Management System
- Provide training in the use PPE
- Facilitate risk assessments and MOC processes offshore
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education (MSc, BSc or equivalent)
- Documented solid experience within QHSE work on MODUs
- Fluent written/oral in Norwegian and English language
- Proficient in the use of IT systems
- Good knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards on NCS and UK
- Basic Offshore Safety course and Offshore health certificate

Core Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will assist in daily QHSE activities, lead local incident investigations, and facilitate risk assessments and MOC processes. They are also responsible for maintaining the offshore Competence Management System and ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a higher education degree (BSc/MSc) and possess solid documented experience in QHSE work on MODUs. Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, along with a Basic Offshore Safety course and a valid offshore health certificate, is required.
