Quality Technician – Enschede, The Netherlands

We have an opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our Enschede team.

The Quality Technician ensures incoming materials and products meet quality requirements and customer expectations. The role supports inspection activities, customer non-conformance management, supplier quality performance, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspection of materials and components against specifications and inspection plans.
  • Manage non-conforming materials and support supplier corrective actions to improve quality performance.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Track customer-focused quality KPIs and contribute to initiatives that reduce customer-related issues.
  • Analyze quality data and use tools such as 8D, RCA, FMEA, and SPC to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support audits, maintain quality documentation, and assist continuous improvement projects across the business.

Qualifications

  • MBO working and thinking level in a technical, manufacturing, or quality-related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, quality assurance, or quality control.
  • Knowledge of incoming inspection, non-conformance management, and customer complaint handling.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI experience is preferred.
  • Basic SAP knowledge and Six Sigma Green Belt certification are advantageous.

Success Measures

  • Reduction in incoming material defects and supplier-related quality issues.
  • Timely closure of customer complaints and non-conformances.
  • Improvement in customer quality KPIs and customer satisfaction.
  • Effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Reduction of recurring quality issues through continuous improvement initiatives.
