Job Description


The Senior Commerce Specialist is the operational engine of our digital commerce and marketplace offering. Working directly alongside the Commerce Lead, you will be the senior hands-on expert responsible for the flawless execution, optimization, and scaling of complex commerce campaigns. You will act as the technical and operational backbone of the team, translating high-level strategy into measurable business outcomes across Amazon and diverse Retail Media Networks (RMNs). While you will not carry direct line-management responsibilities, you will serve as a senior mentor to junior specialists and the ultimate escalation point for complex campaign challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Hands-On Execution: Take direct control of high-tier, complex Amazon DSP and Sponsored Ads campaigns. Utilize advanced automation platforms (e.g., Pacvue) to execute strategies that defend client margins and drive incremental revenue.
  • Strategic Support & Partnership: Act as the operational right-hand to the Commerce Lead. Translate overarching client strategies into granular, actionable campaign structures, feed rules, and bidding models.
  • Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: Serve as the final technical escalation point. Take hands-on ownership of diagnosing and resolving critical operational bottlenecks, such as complex listing suppressions, API feed errors, and sudden drops in profitability.
  • Vendor & Catalogue Operations: Execute rigorous PO management, dispute chargebacks, and optimize A+ Content and Brand Stores to maximize organic search visibility and conversion rates within the marketplace ecosystem.
  • Cross-Channel Implementation: Execute commerce strategies that extend beyond Amazon, configuring and optimizing campaigns across regional marketplaces (e.g., Zalando, Bol.com, Takealot) using unified data approaches.
  • Tactical Mentorship: Elevate the output of the broader delivery team by establishing best practices, building operational playbooks, and providing hands-on training to Medior and Junior specialists.

Knowledge & Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in digital commerce and retail media operations.
  • Deep, demonstrable practitioner-level expertise in Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and Amazon DSP.
  • Advanced proficiency in campaign automation, bid management platforms, and data feed management.
  • Strong analytical rigor, capable of pulling raw platform data and translating it into immediate, outcome-oriented optimizations.
  • Proven ability to operate as a high-level individual contributor in a fast-paced environment, requiring minimal operational oversight.
