Job Description

CEVA Logistics is a leading international logistics service provider. In the Benelux region, we operate over 50 locations spread across 30 sites, where more than 11,000 colleagues contribute daily to our success. 

 

YOUR ROLE  

As a Team Lead, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations in the warehouse. You will manage a team of Team Coordinators and Warehouse Operators, ensuring that everyone works efficiently and according to agreed standards. You inspire and motivate your team to set and achieve goals, while actively contributing to their personal and professional development. You work closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics processes. You report directly to the Operations Manager. 

  

WHERE WILL YOU WORK? 

As a Team Lead you will work from our multi-client warehouse in Waalwijk, where you will be part of a team of 20 to 30 colleagues and work closely with, among others, your fellow Team Leads. The team works in shifts. 

  

On top of that, you will be responsible for: 

  • Leading, coaching, and developing team members, including conducting performance and appraisal reviews;  

  • Managing daily operations and ensuring the achievement of set KPIs and planning targets;  

  • Making the right decisions for an optimal end-to-end process in collaboration with colleagues and the Control Room;  

  • Continuously improving the efficiency of people, resources, and equipment;  

  • Identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements to the logistics process;  

  • Conducting measurements, creating reports, and performing analyses;  

  • Supporting absence management and contributing to a healthy working environment;  

  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.  

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities and characteristics?  

  • Bachelor-level thinking and working skills, with at least a completed MBO-4 education;  

  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a dynamic environment;  

  • A natural people manager with proven leadership experience in a similar (logistics) setting;  

  • Ambitious, hands-on, and able to perform well under pressure and in fast-paced situations;  

  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and a strong sense of ownership;  

  • Full-time availability and flexibility to work in a 2-shift schedule;  

  • Strong command of the English language, spoken and written.  

 

Please note that we only consider candidates who are residents of the European Union and who already live within commuting distance. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this position.

  • You will receive a monthly salary between €2.946,90 and €4.187,42 and 8% vacation allowance (grading depending on your work experience and education level); 

  • You will start with a one-year contract and then get the prospect of permanent employment;
