Job Description

About the Role

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll be responsible for assembling mechanical products to the highest quality standards using engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures. You'll work with hand tools, measuring equipment, and testing devices to ensure every product meets customer specifications before leaving the production floor.

Working alongside experienced colleagues in production, engineering, and quality, you'll play an important role in delivering reliable products safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely and accurately
  • Perform fitting, adjustment, grinding, deburring, drilling, tapping, and finishing activities
  • Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of assembled products
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Complete production records and quality documentation accurately
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Contribute ideas that improve quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Technical education or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, automotive assembly, or a similar technical environment
  • Ability to confidently use hand tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Safety-conscious approach to work
  • Basic communication skills in Dutch
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
     

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience assembling industrial equipment or mechanical products
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Familiarity with quality inspection and production documentation
  • Ability to communicate in both Dutch and English
  • Experience troubleshooting assembly-related issues
