Job Description

As a Hydraulic Assembler, you will assemble and test hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Your work directly contributes to the timely delivery of high-quality products and supports NOV's commitment to operational excellence.

You will collaborate with colleagues within the production cell, troubleshoot assembly issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Experienced assemblers may also provide technical guidance to colleagues who are developing their assembly skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to engineering drawings and work instructions. 
  • Perform functional testing and troubleshoot assembled products to ensure quality and performance. 
  • Inspect components and verify that all required materials, parts, and documentation are available before assembly. 
  • Interpret technical drawings and determine the appropriate assembly sequence and methods. 
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild defective components as required. 
  • Conduct quality inspections of completed assemblies and perform cross-checks on colleagues' work when required. 
  • Accurately record working hours and complete required production documentation. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards. 
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and delivery targets. 
  • Support and provide technical guidance to less experienced assemblers when assigned

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical vocational education (MBO) or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role. 
  • Experience assembling hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. 
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use standard assembly and measuring tools. 
  • Basic troubleshooting and functional testing skills. 
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English. 
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing. 
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
