The Role 

As a QA Software Engineer, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. Your focus will be on designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across front-end and back-end systems to ensure our platform meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

You’ll collaborate with founding engineers, product designers, and security experts to:

• Build integration tests for front-end and back-end components using modern testing frameworks.
• Execute functional and non-functional tests, including stress testing and chaos engineering.
• Generate detailed test reports for the CTO and leadership team.
• Support developers in writing and maintaining unit tests.

Responsibilities  

• Design and implement a full-stack testing program across the platform.
• Report on system testability and test outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product Design to ensure systems meet user expectations.
• Validate performance, scalability, and security across services.
• Contribute to front-end development tasks when needed.

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of experience in test engineering or software engineering, ideally within cloud or cybersecurity domains.
• Proficiency in test development using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, etc.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (TypeScript, Angular).
• Bonus: Experience with Storybook for component testing and documentation.
