What you will be doing:
As an Operations Maintenance Technician, you will be performing an on-site job covering all preventive, corrective & predictive maintenance activities on the sorting systems, equipment and elements that support OPS tasks and duties, lead by a Sr. Technician and Maintenance Management / coordination. Job scope covers the NL Stations (10 stations distributed across the country – 5 in the northern side and 5 in the southern part of the country, but not limited to, as the company is growing).
Scope will not be limited to purely Maintenance tasks (preventive – corrective – predictive), but you will be an essential part for the coordination of providers and vendors that will go on site, ensuring the proper completion of the tasks inherent to the maintainability of the sorting system. You will also participate on spare parts control, inventory, re-ordering and track of delivery (administrative follow-up), as well as registration of activities on standardized CMMS system (MAXIMO).
Applicant must ensure the correct performance of the sorting system present in place, in a safely and effective way; this includes an on-site maintenance execution of tasks, based on a planning issued by MAXIMO, and supervised by the Maintenance coordinator. Operations Maintenance Technician should be able to identify anomalies as they arise and, where clear procedures exist, provide a direct resolution based on his/her knowledge and experience, and where needed in consultation with Maintenance Specialists and Senior Technicians. Further assessment and advisory are expected where the situation requires it.
Applicant will follow an On-Call schedule, where it might be requested to support out of office hours (currently is not foreseen to support during night hours, but not limited to). Administrative works are also part of your routine, such as declaring and reporting maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, predictive), usage of parts, LOTO procedures, toolbox meetings, amongst others, in alignment with the Sr. Technicians and Maintenance Specialists. These administrative activities will most likely refer to MAXIMO reporting, internal communication lines, formularies, Excel control sheets, amongst others relevant ones.
What do you bring with you:
Operations maintenance Technician must be skilled in electrical / electronical & electromechanical systems, as well as pure mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts, rollers, and similar components. Candidate should be flexible and be a team player.
* Relevant experience (moderate level 3 - 5 years) in the Technical field (Maintenance)
* Technical background and expertise.
* Technical studies (MBO) relevant to this job opportunity (Electrical, electronical & electromechanical).

Core Responsibilities
Perform on-site preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on sorting systems and equipment across multiple stations. Coordinate with external vendors, manage spare parts inventory, and document all activities within the MAXIMO system.
Requirements
Requires 3-5 years of relevant technical maintenance experience and a technical MBO degree in electrical, electronic, or electromechanical fields. Candidates must be proficient in both English and Dutch and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
