In dit werk- en leerproces ontwikkelen de toekomstige Restaurant Managers Business Planning vaardigheden om een businessplan te ontwikkelen dat overeenstemt met de restaurantdoelstellingen. Die doelen zijn afgeleid van het algemene businessplan van McDonald’s: 'Plan to Win'. In de verschillende cursussen die ze doorlopen, leren deelnemers op een actieve manier verschillende managementvaardigheden te ontwikkelen. Zelfontplooiing gaat hand in hand met werkplezier. Een gemiddeld McDonald’s restaurant heeft een managementteam van 6 á 10 managers en 60 tot 120 medewerkers.
