Job Description
At Offensys, we're building the platform that enables enterprise security teams to continuously validate their own defenses. We simulate real-world attacker tradecraft, so organizations don't have to guess whether or not they are secure. With Offensys, they know. Our mission is simple: to enable our clients to stay ahead of the threat. We're early. We're moving fast. And we're building what we believe will become a new standard in offensive security. We're looking for people who don't want to watch from the sidelines or be told what to do, but want to proactively help define that standard. The Role You'll work directly with the founders on the development, architecture, and roadmap of our platform. Not to build features because they're technically interesting, but because they create real value for our customers. You think in outcomes. You validate ideas before scaling them. You have strong opinions about what is, and what isn't worth building. Within a year, you'll own some of the most critical components of our platform. What you'll do Build new platform capabilities from concept to production, always with customer value in mind. Contribute to architectural decisions and scalability while avoiding unnecessary complexity and over-engineering. Prioritize work based on customer feedback, product insights, and business impact rather than technical novelty. Improve deployment processes, reliability, and maintainability so we can continue moving fast. Take ownership beyond writing code and act as a trusted sparring partner for the founders on product direction and roadmap decisions. Who we're looking for We're looking for a strong full-stack engineer. Someone who thinks just as deeply about why something should be built as how it should be built. You're comfortable with modern engineering practices and continuously invest in your own growth, including the effective use of AI-assisted development tools. Our current stack includes Go, Python, and TypeScript. Our infrastructure runs on Azure, Kubernetes, and Flux. Experience with these technologies is valuable, but we're looking for curiosity, adaptability, and the drive to learn rather than someone who simply checks every box. Experience or affinity with cybersecurity is a plus, but not a requirement. Curiosity about the domain is. Open-source contributions, side projects, blog posts, conference talks, or publicly visible work tell us more than a CV full of buzzwords. What we offer Direct influence on product, architecture, and roadmap. Close collaboration with the founders from day one. A high degree of autonomy. The freedom to experiment, validate ideas, and course-correct quickly. Access to and budget for modern development tools, including the latest and greatest AI-assisted coding tools. A competitive salary between €5,000 and €8,000 gross per month, depending on experience and profile. 25 vacation days. Hybrid working, with at least two days per week at our office in Den Bosch (near the central station). You'll be one of the early engineering hires at Offensys. That means you'll help shape not only the product, but also the engineering culture, technical standards, and ways of working that will define the company as it grows. If you're excited about building a category-defining security product and want to have an impact on its future, we'd love to hear from you. How to apply Use the application form below.
