As the Night Manager, you are the main point of contact for guests during the night and the representative of hotel management outside regular office hours. Your shift starts every evening at 10:45 PM with a briefing, ensuring you are fully informed about the day’s activities, guest expectations, and operational priorities. During the night, you take full charge of the hotel operation. You are responsible for overseeing a smooth and efficient night shift, maintaining the highest standards of luxury service, and ensuring the safety and security of our guests, ambassadors, and property together with the security officers. Guest satisfaction, ambassador wellbeing, and security are your main priorities throughout the night. In addition to the operational responsibilities, you will take on managerial tasks such as monitoring and adjusting the night schedule where necessary, ensuring adequate staffing and an effective distribution of duties. You will proactively manage any challenges that arise, make operational decisions, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless service delivery. You are also responsible for conducting the night audit, ensuring all revenue is correctly recorded. You monitor hotel procedures and standards, prepare daily reports, and ensure that all administrative and financial processes are completed accurately for a successful start to the next day. You will work closely with Front Office and other departments to follow up on outstanding guest requests, handle late arrivals and early departures, and ensure all relevant information is communicated effectively between shifts. At the end of your shift, at 7:15 AM, you provide a comprehensive handover to the morning team during the daily briefing. This is a dynamic and highly responsible position requiring strong leadership, excellent decision making skills, strong attention to detail, and a hands on approach.
