A career that lets your passion shine During this internship you will have the opportunity to assist in the work of a Duty Manager in an international, luxury five-star hotel. Our Duty Managers are responsible for the operations of the hotel and represent the management team in their absence. Their challenge is to find the right balance between regular work and ad hoc situations. They have the responsibility to make quick and adequate decisions that affect the well-being of guests and other employees. Another would describe them as an involved manager who oversees everything from a 'strategic' position, who watches and listens carefully and responds quickly to developments and offers solutions where necessary, while at the same time coaching and monitoring colleagues with the aim of providing consistent service and therefore guest satisfaction. The internship allowance is €600 gross per month, based on 38 hours per week. Besides this, you also have the possibility to receive travel allowance. Core Responsibilities
The intern will assist the Duty Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and representing the management team. They are responsible for making quick decisions to ensure guest satisfaction and coaching colleagues to maintain service standards.
Requirements
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a hospitality management program at the HBO level and be available for at least 5 months. Fluency in English is required, along with a flexible, professional, and attentive attitude.
