About the Company: We are currently seeking Editorial Board Members for “The Open Biomedical Engineering Journal". The Open Biomedical Engineering Journal is an open-access journal that publishes original research articles, reviews/mini-reviews, letters and guest-edited single-topic issues in all areas of biomedical engineering. The journal focuses on the original high-quality multidisciplinary research in the field of biosystems, including biomedical modeling; cell and tissue engineering for repair medicine; biomeasurements, biosignal processing and biosensing systems; artificial and bioartificial organs; biomaterials; biomechanics and rehabilitation, medical information systems and neuronal networks; brain-computer interfaces, communication technologies in medicine, medical imaging including brain functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), genome analysis, medical physics, bioinformatics, biophotonics and optical tomography. The Open Biomedical Engineering Journal, a peer reviewed journal, is an important and reliable source of current information on developments in the field. Emphasis is placed on publishing quality papers, making them freely available to researchers worldwide. About the Role: We are seeking experienced researchers and scientists to join us as Editorial Board Members for the journal, “The Open Biomedical Engineering Journal". Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal by providing valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors. Responsibilities: Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic (one thematic issue every year). Review articles submitted to the journal (at least thrice a year) in your area of expertise. Qualifications: Scientist or researcher (PhD) with experience in Biomedical Engineering and related subject areas. At least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers. Verifiable record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus. Ability to communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders in the English language. Required Skills: Experience in Biomedical Engineering and related subject areas. Peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers. Clear communication skills in English. Preferred Skills: Networking with professionals and scholars. Ability to contribute to thematic issues. Core Responsibilities
Contribute to the growth of the journal by selecting topics, reviewers, and authors. Responsibilities include soliciting one special thematic issue per year and reviewing at least three articles annually.
Requirements
Requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing and writing. Candidates must have a verifiable record of publications in WOS Core Collection or Scopus indexed journals.
