Job Description

you'll build AI systems that our companies run on, which mostly means agents that can plan, use tools, check their own work, and correct themselves without someone watching. This is hands-on AI work. You'll prototype fast, wire models into real systems, test what holds up, debug what falls over, and push the useful ones into production. Our group has spent thirty years building companies across New York, London, and Tokyo. Today, our teams operate from a 4,000 sqm campus in Canggu, Bali. Across the group, we have raised and deployed more than $150M and operate portfolio companies across energy, bioproduction, and AI infrastructure. Depending on team needs, current projects, and your interests, you may work across: Zero-X Thermochemical conversion and distributed energy, with 200+ systems live across 11 countries. Seraph Group Decentralized bioproduction combining AI, robotics, and synthetic biology on one platform. Gemino AI The AI infrastructure layer supporting systems and workflows across the group. Your AI work may include: Designing and building AI agents and multi-agent workflows Connecting LLMs to APIs, databases, internal systems, and third-party tools Building automation pipelines and backend services for real operational use cases Developing agent logic, tool use, memory, and workflow orchestration Testing, debugging, and improving the reliability of AI systems Experimenting with different models and technical approaches Turning prototypes into maintainable, production-ready systems The focus is not on academic exercises. You will work on AI connected to real companies, real users, and real engineering challenges. We're looking for candidates who: Have completed or are close to completing a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related technical field Have a solid understanding of AI, machine learning, software development, or LLM-based systems Have hands-on experience with Python or a similar language, APIs, integrations, and technical systems Have experience through university projects, internships, personal projects, or other practical AI work Can work independently, learn quickly, and solve technical problems Are able to work fully on-site in Bali for 4-6 months This internship can also be completed as part of a university internship requirement. We don't expect you to already know our full stack, but you should have a strong AI and software foundation. Core Responsibilities

Build and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows that can plan, use tools, and self-correct. Develop automation pipelines and backend services to integrate LLMs with APIs and databases for real-world operational use cases.

Requirements

Candidates should be completing or have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a strong foundation in AI and software development. Practical experience with Python and hands-on AI projects is required, along with the ability to work on-site in Bali for 4-6 months.
