BUSINESS MANAGER AMSTERDAM NETHERLANDS (VIE) – ref JOB-1559 Reference of the job to be mentioned: JOB-1559 This role is only applicable through the French VIE program (Volontariat International) Position based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam), for an initial duration of 12 months, renewable once, before transitioning to a long-term position. This Role Is Only Open To Candidates Who Hold a French social security number (required to comply with VIE regulations in the Netherlands) Are fluent in English (C1 level) Speak Dutch (B2 or C1 level) Who We Are Aldebaran Group is a project management consulting company operating in the energy and infrastructure sectors, supporting clients in France and internationally. Role And Responsibilities The main objective of the Netherlands Business Manager (NBM) is to contribute to the commercial development, sales, and business activities of ALDEBARAN Group services. Our services cover various industrial sectors such as renewable energy, nuclear, onshore and offshore wind, infrastructure, water, and solar. In the Netherlands, there will be an additional focus on petrochemicals, chemicals, and refining. The NBM will report directly to the Company President and will be responsible for generating and managing new business opportunities. Business Development Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities in the Netherlands and carry out business development and marketing activities with clients Increase the company’s visibility among existing and potential clients, and develop and secure new business Strengthen existing relationships and build a strong commercial presence in the energy services sector and beyond if needed Support prequalification processes and proposal preparation (pricing, offers) Maintain regular communication with consultants to monitor assignments, ensure their well-being, and aim to extend their missions and generate new opportunities Achieve sales targets and required profit margins Management Responsibilities Closely monitor consultant costs to ensure expected margins from tender stages are maintained Communicate with clients to ensure contract performance is satisfactory, anticipating and identifying potential risks as early as possible Liaise with client finance and accounting departments to ensure timely payments Maintain regular follow-up with consultants to ensure satisfaction, mission continuity, and new opportunity generation Recruitment Responsibilities As a key figure in the company, recruitment is critical. You will be partially involved in the recruitment process. You will be supported by recruitment specialists in France or abroad, but your involvement is required for final profile validation before submission. YOUR PROFILE You hold a Master’s degree (or higher), such as: Engineering degree with a strong interest in business development Business school degree with a strong interest in technical environments You have a strong sensitivity to environmental topics, combined with a pragmatic and realistic mindset. Open-minded and curious, you have excellent interpersonal skills and can interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. The role requires travel from Rotterdam to various industrial sites and client offices across the country. A valid driving license is mandatory. Mandatory Requirements This position is only open to candidates who strictly meet the following criteria: Hold a French social security number (VIE compliance requirement in the Netherlands) Fluent in English (C1 level) Dutch proficiency (B2 or C1 level)

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Engineering or Business and possess a French social security number for VIE compliance. Fluency in English (C1) and proficiency in Dutch (B2/C1) are mandatory, along with a valid driving license.
