As a Senior SAP Data Architect/Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping how our customers approach data and analytics. You'll combine your technical expertise, business understanding and curiosity for new technologies to build data landscapes that are ready not only for today, but for what comes next. The Job As a Senior SAP Data Architect/Engineer, you'll be one of the key drivers behind our Data & Analytics practice. You'll help customers tackle complex business and technical challenges, while also bringing new ideas and expertise to the Expertum team. You will: Design and shape future-proof data architectures and solutions that connect business needs with SAP and non-SAP technologies. Advise customers on their data and analytics strategy, translating business challenges into scalable and effective technical solutions. Work across modern and established SAP landscapes, including Business Data Cloud (Datasphere), SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA, HANA Cloud, HANA Knowledge Graph, SAP BW and SAP R/3. Explore and apply technologies beyond the SAP ecosystem, such as Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, when they provide the right solution for the customer. Take ownership of complex customer challenges, from defining the architecture and solution approach through to implementation and continuous improvement. Act as a source of knowledge and inspiration within the Data & Analytics team, sharing your expertise and encouraging colleagues to explore new technologies and approaches. Contribute to the wider Expertum organization, for example through knowledge sharing, innovation, pre-sales, marketing or recruitment initiatives. Your Profile Must-haves Solid experience in SAP Data & Analytics architecture and solutions, such as SAP Business Data Cloud (Datasphere), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA Cloud, BW/4HANA or ABAP CDS modelling. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data engineering and data pipeline principles. Solid functional understanding of SAP processes and underlying data structures. Proven experience translating business requirements into data architectures and technical solutions. Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex customer challenges. Fluent in Dutch and professionally proficient in English. Nice-to-haves Experience with classic SAP BI technologies such as SAP BW, BusinessObjects, Analysis for Office (AfO) or SLT. Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric. Knowledge of architecture frameworks or methodologies such as TOGAF or DAMA-DMBOK. Affinity with Artificial Intelligence in the context of Data & Analytics. Experience with pre-sales, solution design or customer advisory. Mindset & soft skills Curious and driven to keep exploring what is next in the world of data and analytics. A pragmatic, thorough and solution-oriented approach to complex challenges. Comfortable taking ownership and acting as a trusted advisor to customers. Enjoys sharing knowledge and inspiring colleagues rather than keeping expertise within one domain. Collaborative and open-minded, with an interest in connecting different areas of expertise. Able to understand both the technical details and the bigger business picture. Core Responsibilities

Design and implement future-proof data architectures connecting business needs with SAP and non-SAP technologies. Act as a strategic advisor to customers and a knowledge leader within the internal Data & Analytics practice.

Requirements

Requires extensive experience in SAP Data & Analytics architecture and a strong understanding of data engineering principles. Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and professionally proficient in English.
