As a specialist in “mastering noise and engineering silence,” they work with around 140 colleagues on a wide range of projects both nationally and internationally. They take pride in delivering projects from consultancy and engineering through to production and installation. At ALARA, complete tailor-made solutions are realized. Their solutions include sound-insulating enclosures, containers, noise-reducing ventilation systems for large data centers, acoustic doors, and silencers. Your role as Senior Electrical Engineer As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing all electrical aspects within various projects. You are involved from an early stage in both new and ongoing projects and play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance with standards, and technical feasibility. You review electrical designs at a high level, translate client specifications into clear technical requirements, and ensure that solutions comply with applicable standards and regulations. Drafting work is outsourced; you review the submitted schematics and documentation and provide technical direction to external engineering partners. In doing so, you act as a technical point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. In addition, you contribute to standardization within ALARA. You help develop and improve electrical standards, processes, and documentation to ensure projects are executed more consistently, efficiently, and at a high quality level. Your key responsibilities Reviewing electrical designs, schematics, and technical documentation Verifying designs and installations against applicable standards and regulations Preparing and reviewing technical specifications for ALARA, suppliers, and clients Drafting RFQs and technically evaluating supplier quotations in collaboration with procurement Maintaining close contact with clients and suppliers regarding technical decisions, requirements, and approvals Acting as the technical lead within the electrical engineering domain In this role, you combine technical expertise with project responsibility and stakeholder management. You report to the Manager Engineering and work closely with lead engineers from other disciplines. Your profile Bachelor’s degree level (HBO) in thinking and working Extensive experience in project-based environments Strong technical expertise in electrical installations, enabling you to engage in in-depth discussions on complex technical matters with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Ability to elevate technical quality standards and establish consistent ways of working within ALARA Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken Are you the driven Senior Electrical Engineer for ALARA? Core Responsibilities

Oversee all electrical aspects of projects from early stages through to installation, ensuring quality and compliance with technical standards. Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders while improving electrical standards and processes.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree (HBO) and extensive experience in project-based electrical installations. Candidates must be fluent in both Dutch and English and possess the ability to manage complex technical discussions.
