Job Description

This is a 28-hour-per-week position, with the hours spread over five working days. The distribution of hours supports consistent availability for students, families and colleagues throughout the school week. The Senior Admissions Officer Will Serve as the primary contact for families interested in enrolling their child, answering enquiries, providing accurate information and offering personalised guidance throughout the admissions process. Arrange and conduct school tours for prospective families, introducing the school’s programmes, values and learning environment. Work with the Head of Admissions to support strategic enrolment planning and help maintain balanced student numbers across year groups and programmes. Oversee the administration of Secondary School admissions, ensuring accurate records, high-quality data and compliance with relevant policies and enrolment requirements. Coordinate with academic departments and support teams to ensure the smooth induction of students arriving during the school year. Liaise with the Primary School Administrator to support students progressing from Primary to Secondary education. Play a key role in the Grade 7 admissions process for bilingual/tweetalig VWO students, including participating in open days and coordinating open-lesson afternoons. Support Grade 7 admissions for IPS students by liaising with the IPS Admissions Department and organising trial-lesson afternoons. Manage the school’s online admissions systems, including OpenApply and iSAMS, and ensure that information is entered and maintained accurately. Prepare preliminary transcripts and verify documents for current students applying to external institutions. Work with the Well-Being Coach to conduct exit interviews with departing students and gather feedback that can inform student support and school improvement. Coordinate the annual re-enrolment process, ensuring timely communication with families and supporting retention planning for the following academic year. Collaborate with the Inclusion Team when required to support suitable student placement and inclusive admissions practices. Attend recruitment events, information evenings, open days and other admissions-related activities as required.
