Job Description

Are you an experienced logistics professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where no day is the same? For our Special Services team at Rhenus, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who knows how to keep an overview, responds quickly to urgent requests and enjoys coordinating logistics processes from A to Z. With your knowledge of forwarding and logistics, you will play an important role in ensuring that our customers receive the right service at the right time. FUNCTION As a Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and monitoring various logistics activities within the Special Services team. You will work with different logistics processes, with a focus on air and ocean forwarding, and ensure that shipments are handled accurately and efficiently. You will coordinate with customers, carriers, colleagues and other stakeholders and act quickly when urgent requests or unexpected situations arise. In addition, you will work with WMS systems and contribute to keeping our logistics processes running smoothly. ABOUT YOU You have 2-5 years of relevant work experience within logistics, forwarding or a related field and have an MBO 4 level or Bachelor degree. You have broad logistics knowledge, with a particular focus on air and ocean forwarding, and experience working with WMS systems. You are flexible, proactive and able to respond quickly to urgent requests while maintaining a clear overview and working accurately. You are comfortable working independently as well as in a team, communicate effectively in Dutch and English, and are keen to contribute to a dynamic and international working environment. The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week.
