Job Description

Electro-Mechanical Critical Facilities Engineer Location: Amsterdam Area, Netherlands Working Model: Fully Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time Call-Out: On-call/call-out roster About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Critical Facilities Engineer to support the safe, reliable operation of a mission-critical data centre environment in Amsterdam. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain HV/LV, UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear and ATS/STS. Maintain chillers, CRAC/CRAH and critical cooling systems. Perform switching operations and follow approved switching plans. Execute PPM, MOP, SOP and EOP procedures. Monitor BMS/CMMS and respond to critical incidents. Troubleshoot faults and support Root Cause Analysis. Coordinate with vendors and contractors. Requirements Experience in data centres, critical facilities or other mission-critical environments. Strong electrical and mechanical systems knowledge. NEN 3140/NEN 3840 or equivalent HV/LV authorisation, certification or relevant international experience. VCA VOL or equivalent safety qualification preferred. Strong troubleshooting and incident-response skills. Willingness to work fully onsite and participate in an on-call roster.

Operate and maintain critical electrical and cooling infrastructure within a mission-critical data centre environment. Perform switching operations, execute maintenance procedures, and monitor BMS/CMMS to respond to incidents.

Requirements

Requires experience in data centres or critical facilities with strong electro-mechanical knowledge. Must possess NEN 3140/3840 or equivalent HV/LV certification and be willing to participate in an on-call roster.
