WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS TRANSPORT PLANNER?
We are looking for a Transport Planner for our location in Roosendaal! In this role you ensure that the schedules of our outbound processes and external transporters are aligned. Because of you, the outbound team knows at what time they have to be at which dock for which orders! You also ensure that the transporters are aware of this planning, so that they know where and when they can deliver their cargo. In short, through your communication about the planning, everyone knows which and where the orders must be picked, packed and ready to go.
As Transport Planner you are going to do the following tasks:
- Schedule carriers based on the daily KPIs;
- Taking care of outbound planning;
- Monitor carrier performance;
- Maintaining the relationship with our customer partly through cooperation with Customer Service;
- Solve operational issues together with the warehouse and Customer Service; and
- Participate in projects aimed at improvement within our LEAN philosophy.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?
You will be part of the Planning team of 5 colleagues and together you ensure that the logistics schedules are coordinated with the transporters. This is how we keep our customer satisfied! In addition, you work in an open and informal atmosphere, where passion is of paramount importance. You report to the Transport Supervisor and work in flexible office hours between 08:00 and 18:30.

We are looking for someone who is communicative with an entrepreneurial attitude! You are stress-resistant and able to work independently, without losing sight of the team spirit. You also have the following knowledge and experience:
- MBO+ working and thinking level towards logistics and/or transport;
- Pro active attitude with communication skills;
- Planning skills;
- Command of the English language; and
- Experience with systems (preferably Access) and Excel.

- A gross monthly salary between € 2.934 and € 3.968 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);

Requirements
Candidates should have an MBO+ level of education in logistics or transport and possess strong communication and planning skills. Proficiency in Excel and database systems, along with a proactive and stress-resistant attitude, is required.
